OBELE (BROWN-WEST) HINSLEY
President

Obele is an award-winning marketing innovator recognized by Adweek, Ad Age, Chief Marketer, PRWeek and AdExchanger. With 20 years experience, Obele is the President of Colle McVoy.

Prior to Colle McVoy, Obele led data intelligence platform Tracer and led Tinuiti’s 800+ commerce, media, analytics, lifecycle, influencer and creative specialists as Chief Solutions Officer. Under her leadership, Tinuiti became the first independent agency to win Microsoft Global Agency of the Year and the first with exclusive Reddit and TikTok partnerships.

Obele is an Executive member of the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences and sits on boards for Goodlife Clothing, Gifting Brands and Stop Soldier Suicide.

TULANI ANDRÉ
Vice President, Social Media

Tulani is the Vice President of Social Media at National Geographic where she leads social strategy and planning across television, editorial and magazine. She has worked in the digital space for the last 14 years, she started her career working on a wide range of clients at agencies in New York and Washington DC. Prior to her current position, Tulani was a Global Lead of Social and Editorial at Prime Video and the Vice President of Social Media at FOX Entertainment.

Tulani has created social storytelling and marketing campaigns across sectors, including in the government, non-profit, entertainment and consumer products/devices spaces. This has given her a holistic perspective on the importance of tech and digital, and the impactful role that social media marketing plays in any project, campaign or brand. She has a Bachelor of Arts in History from Spelman College and a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy from The Fletcher School at Tufts University.

KIRSTIN BENSON
Vice President of Global Entertainment

Based in LA, Kirstin Benson oversees a global content team that is responsible for photo and video coverage of more than 70,000 events a year and partnerships with the world’s largest film festivals, media conglomerates, and award shows—amongst others. Passionate in her pursuit of DE&I within Getty Images and the broader industry, she actively drives the company’s global initiatives in the space both internally and externally.

Shingy

David Shing (known as “Shingy”) is an Australian futurist, speaker, creative director, strategic digital consultant, and entrepreneur. Known for his performative persona and his bold and polarizing moniker, the digital prophet, Shingy is a multidimensional creative who specializes in advising clients about inventive, effective and sustainable approaches to optimizing brand value within the digital landscape. He is passionate about educating big brands about the unique opportunities afforded by emerging digital, social and mobile technologies.

MELISSA M. PROCTOR
CMO

Melissa Proctor is the EVP and Chief Marketing Officer for the Atlanta Hawks and State Farm Arena. Proctor joined the organization in June 2014 and oversees the day-to-day operations of the club’s marketing, creative, Hawks Studios, live experience and production, brand merchandising/retail, entertainment industry relations, community impact and basketball programs team. 

Since she started her career with Turner Broadcasting System, Inc., Proctor has been a trailblazer. Among her list of recent accomplishments, Proctor released her first book in 2020 titled From Ball Girl to CMO and in 2021, she was honored with Adweek’s CMO Award. The American Marketing Association Atlanta Chapter recognized Melissa with the 2022 AMY Lifetime Achievement Award.  

Proctor is a graduate of the 2023 class of Leadership Atlanta and serves on the board of the High Museum of Art, WABE (pbs/NPR) and is a member of the Georgia State University Marketing Roundtable. She holds a bachelor’s degree in communication from Wake Forest University and a master’s degree in design studies/branding from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design at The London Institute. She lives in Atlanta and is mom to her awesome daughter Marley.
