Description

Web accessibility is making sure that people with disabilities (20-25% of all adults) do not encounter barriers on your websites and digital materials.

The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requires compliance, but upcoming enforcement of the European Accessibility Act (EAA) will require even more if you have EU customers.

This presentation will outline compliance requirements and share ways that AI can help but also potentially hinder accessibility compliance work.

Actionable tactics you can apply after this session:

- Know if your organization may need to comply with the European Accessibility Act.

- Take the initial steps for assessing your organization’s web accessibility compliance.

- Apply approaches to begin improving web accessibility and make continuing plans to maintain accessibility.

- Identify use cases where AI may be able to help your organization with web accessibility and where AI may be problematic
