Upasna Gautam is Partner, Strategy & Innovation at The Texas Tribune, where she is building the statewide framework for local newsroom expansion while strengthening product and audience strategy across the growing network of newsrooms. Prior, she was a Senior Product Management Leader at CNN where her team built the core platform technology that powers all of CNN's digital products.

Upasna has been working in the tech industry for the last 18+ years, and has been an integral part of delivering technical, data-informed solutions for brands such as Ford Motor Company, Valvoline, PCMag, Mashable, Mars Corporation, and Kimberly-Clark.

Upasna also serves as the Chairwoman of the News Product Alliance, is an investor and advisor in early-stage startups, and a content creator.
